Gotta love Buzzfeed and Dove

Hello beautiful reader!

I'm gonna cut right to the chase. Recently I found these videos about our special theme. You know, the real beauty standard of today and how it's positive. So, a very popular social YouTube channel called Buzzfeed uploaded a video titled "What it means to be pretty". In this video the clarify that pretty is what people expect of you, but beautiful is who you are. It's more important to be beautiful than pretty. This is a word choice that no one has used before, and it shows how much our sense of "beauty" has changed. Confidence and being happy is beauty. Don't believe me? Check it out:

Another recent video that is truly amazing is Dove's new beauty campaign. Yes, it's a beauty campaign without "models" and "Photoshop". During the last years, many of these campaigns have occurred; but I'll talk about that topic later on. Right now, I'm going to show you guys this video called "Dove Choose Beautiful". Here they let women choose between 2 doors. Surprisingly they all chose the "average" one instead of the "beautiful". What they want to achieve with this is for every woman to choose "beautiful" because we are. Let me let the video explain for itself, here you go:
